Personalized Giveaways

Due to the advancement of the latest gadgets and gizmos, many people can now create personalized items as giveaways such as wedding party gifts, child dedication souvenir, birthday party and others. Personal pictures can now be embedded to mugs, bags, key chains and many more. You can do it yourself, order online or visit your nearest desktop publishing house.

Here are several ideas on how you can have personalized giveaways:

Anyway, there are more products where you can embed photos now. It just depends on the company where you will have it done. Just be creative!

Online Photo Editing Sites

Though I am not a fan of photo editing using Photoshop, I though love using online photo editing sites such as fotoflexer.com and picnik.com. But my favorite so far is fotoflexer.com because most of its editing tools can be used for free unlike picnik.com that you need to be a premium to enjoy all the finest tools.

Anyway, fotoflexer.com has many photo editing tools. You can autofix the photo, fix red eye, crop, resize, rotate, flip, adjust and create a collage. You can also change the effects of your photo into blur edges, blueprint, neon, grayscale, invert, painting, cartoon, pop art, sepia, old photo, ink stamp, color rotate and more. You can also decorate your photo with stickers, text, glitter text, draw, erase, fill, insert-a-face, create fun cards, insert borders or create posters.

By the way, one of the coolest tools are the ones found at their beautify tab. You can smooth and sharpen your photos. Aside from that, you can fix blemishes with their makeup concealer and smooth wrinkles with their wrinkle treatment. It means you can remove eye bags, pimples, scars and even wrinkles.

So, if you don’t know how to fix your photo using Photoshop, why not try online editing tools like picnic.com or fotoflexer.com. I am sure you will have a grand time making yourself pretty or handsome!

Pain Tolerance

Some people can tolerate pain to the highest level but as for me I couldn’t. A slight toothache, headache or even some joint pains, you can be sure that I can be found down at my bed. I can’t tolerate pain in some level like other people do. Maybe this is because when I was younger, I was always weak and sickly.

Anyway, I have learned to cope up with this because every memory of pain even hurts when I thought about it. So, I learned to take paracetamol for headache and amoxicillin & mefenamic acid for toothache. As for the other pains, I don’t take medicine immediately but I rather rest and sleep.

How about you? How do you adjust with pain?

Photo Magic Wand

Back in high school, most of us won’t allow our pictures to be taken if we have pimples or blackheads in our face. We make sure that we get acne or blackhead treatment before a graduation picture is taken.

Today, you don’t have to worry if you have pimples, blackheads, scars, eye bags and other face blemishes. Why? Because all photo studios are now equipped with a magic wand! Not necessarily a magic wand but all the latest photo software that can edit how you look. Most of them use Adobe Photoshop.

And by the way, not only photo studios but even amateur photographers too. Most digital camera owners who has a PC, also has Photoshop software. If not, they have other alternative photo editing software or they can have it done online.

Are you grateful of this kind of advancement in the field of photography?

Unintended Photo Effects

I have been joining the meme Girl Talk by Niko Ganda. I received few comments about how my tummy looked stretch marks free. Honestly, I am not a user of a cocoa butter stretch marks and not an avid fan of photoshop. But, I had to say this that my digital camera is a liar. If you take pictures of my tummy with a flash, my tummy looks like blemish free but truthfully it has a lot of stretch marks! Gazillions of them!

Anyway, though my digital camera lie often about my tummy, but it always says candidly about my eye bags. Once a photo is taken of me, you can’t deny the fact that I am indeed a blogger. My eye bags are as big as my big eyes now!

How about you? Do you have this kind of unintended photo effect with your pictures?

My Daughter's Birthday Celebration

Our Weekend Memoirs

My daughter will be celebrating her 10th birthday tomorrow but we had an advance celebration last Saturday with her classmates and our neighbors.

Just like it is not a trend to give communion invitations here in our country, I didn't send out birthday invitations either. I just told my daughter to ask her close classmates to join us while I was the one who invited her neighborhood friends.

We went to the mall, ate at Jollibee and played at World's of Fun. My daughter had a great time and so is her friends, brother and us.

Eye Blinds

They say the eyes are the windows to our soul. No wonder some people are installing blinds on their eyes. Yup! You heard me right blinds! Well, I call them that way because they look like window blinds to me.

If you’re confused, don’t be because I am referring to this latest fashion craze (crazy much). I am referring to shutter shades popularized by Kanye West (seen in the picture below).

So, do you like to install blinds on your eyes? LOL!

As for me, I am already looking into term life insurance rates and plans to be a self-employed contributor for government benefits. I just hope that I would be a consistent payer especially when I am having a hard time saving. LOL!

Product or Food Photographer

I don’t really know what to call a photographer who takes pictures of products to be sold but I believe it is a nice job to do. Example, if you are given a task to take pictures of hot tub spa covers and make sure you do it in a way that makes it marketable, I think it would pose to be fun and challenging at the same time.

Aside from that, another job like a food photographer for restaurants is a nice job too. Don’t you think? That is why I am contemplating to be a food blogger and photographer at the same time too. It would be fun and delicious thing to do!

22 of 365: Bambo Sala Set

We don’t have much of a living room sofa. We own a bamboo made sala set. If you sit on it, you will not feel comfortable because it is hard. This also means you have to rely on your buttocks for some cushion.

Anyway, we plan to buy contemporary sofas in the future but not sometime soon. We still have many priorities needed to be done before buying things that we have already can do with as of now.

So far, this bamboo sala set that you can see below will have to do until we are ready to buy new ones!

Digital Frames

Since the advent of digital camera, people got into the hobbit of taking pictures but not developing them and because of this many pictures remain hidden inside a computer as a file instead of beautiful memories reminisce by looking at photo frames or albums. Now, thanks to innovative minds, digital frames come to the rescue!
A digital frame looks like a photo frame but it has an LCD screen that flashes digital pictures stored in its memory instead of one single photo. It is also a solution to pictures which are not developed into prints but stayed as an image file. So instead of seeing one photo, you will see hundreds of photos that flashes every now and then.

For me, I am planning to buy digital frames for my kids. I think each of them must have one each then I would probably store pictures of them since they are younger to present. That would surely be a treat to moms like me!

21 of 365: Beautiful Clouds

While we rode a trisikad going to SM City Bacolod (a mall that stands in a reclamation area which is one of the city’s metal buildings I think) to watch a movie, I saw this beautiful clouds. The view was quite an attention getter that is why I grabbed my LG GW300 mobile phone and took a snap shot out if it. I just thought it is nice to capture nature’s everyday beauty!

Mosaic Monday #4

I am a stay at home mommy and I earn a living from blogging. Last Saturday, I got my payment. So, together with my mom and my kids, we went to buy things for the baby, the children and we ate at our favorite fast food.

Our Weekend Memoirs # 6

Last Saturday, my mom, my children and I went shopping. It was the weekend my mom was looking forward because we are buying Bella Grace her crib. Though I was busy doing some research on life insurance, I made it to the point that I could bring them out on that day to fulfill my promise.

So, when afternoon came, we went and bought Bella’s crib. Then afterwards, we went to the mall and bought the foam for the crib but eventually we ended up buying more than what we came for! I felt that I should buy something for the older kids two since I bought something for their baby sister.

Anyway, after we bought the crib, we went to Jollibee first to eat before we did our shopping. Here are some of our weekend memoirs:
