The Newest Social Photo Sharing Site

For the past few days, I have been very so occupied with PicLyf. This is a new social photo sharing site wherein you can upload photos and share them in social networking sites automatically. You can link your PicLyf account to Facebook, Tumblr, Plurk, Twitter, Wordpress, Blogger and more. In just one upload all these photos can be shared in these places at once!

I have been a member for a few days only, and because of its awesomeness, I forgot to write my testoripped reviews. Good thing I was able to remember and eventually, submitted it on time.

Anyway, if you haven’t tried PicLyf yet, I think you should do. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to be a member, you can upload any photos or images, even photos from your mobile phone! You can share any images to the world easily with PicLyf!

Forget to Buy Gold Coins!

A few weeks ago, I think I mentioned in this blog that I would be buying gold chocolate coins this Christmas for my kids. Unfortunately, because of my uber hectic schedule I was not able to buy one. I only remembered about my plans of buying it when I was reading the news on gold bars as great investment for 2011.

Anyway, I am still planning to buy gold coins this New Year. I hope I get to remember when I do my grocery in preparation for Media Noche on the 31st going to January 1. Hope I won’t be too old to forget. LOL!

Bought Presents

I went to the mall yesterday to buy myself tea tea tree oil for acne but when we were able to pass by the department store, I ended up buying toys for my children. I can’t help myself but buy those toys since Christmas is already a few days away. I will attend an out of town event and probably won’t have the time to do so.

Now, I got the entire toys gift wrapped and placed under our Christmas tree. Well, not all the presents are mine. Some are from my daughter's godparents. I can see that my children are already excited to open their pressies on December 25 though my eldest already knew what she will get since she was with me when I bought the toys. LOL!

New Business to Look Into

Web hosting is a good business to get into because more and more people around the world are getting into domain blogs. If one is going to buy a domain blog, then naturally he will need a host. There is no use in having a domain without a space to put it up on.

Because of the influx of this need, small and micro-business web hosting have sprouted. And who wouldn’t get into it? As long as you have the time and the willingness to learn basic coding and html, you have a computer and an internet connection in the home, you can serve people from anywhere in the world.

I found a very good resource online at webhostinghub.com about making a good business out of web hosting and I think it is great. They are helping small and medium web entrepreneurs on the technicalities and the management of a web hosting business. They have many articles covering many topics on their site that can be used to start up a web hosting business. They even have a glossary of the most common web hosting terms that a newbie may encounter in this business. I truly appreciate their guide on the best web hosting types because I did not know that there is such a thing as types of web hosting. I thought that a web host is that and only that.

There is much to learn on this site and I am very thankful that I found it.

Protect Yourself!

Every time I receive a membership card with a chip (rfid) on it, I always assumed that this is just part of the future and soon I am expecting to see it on our ATM and credit cards. But when I heard about stories of stolen identity in the US (most of their ATM and credit cards have rfid already) and how they lost thousands of dollars, I felt afraid of the system and somehow thought I don’t want that to happen here in the Philippines. Money is already hard up and if we lose them because of identity theft, then it would be much worst! Check out the video below:

Then a few months later, I received the most amazing news! Now, you can have the choice to protect yourself from these high-tech thieves with Identity Stronghold’s RFID blocking products. They protect your cards from emitting important data to nearby thieves that may try to capture your important banking data. Cool right?!

Future Savings

I have a friend who works freelance like me but who really thinks of her future. She saves up for a retirement fund and pays her social security so that she will have a retirement fund when she reaches the age of 60. She also has a couple of life insurance with retirement benefits so that at least when she is older, she has something to get as source of funds.

I think that is good thinking. Although insurance agents would compute and tell her that her insurance policies would not be enough to cover inflation, but at least, she has something stashed for herself and for her family aside from the money she has in her atm account.

I thought her plans are good because she is just paying for what she can afford. So I also looked at life insurance quotes online in order to see if I can also afford insurance policies. The sad thing is, prices have already gone up. I have three kids and if I get a policy for each one of them and myself, gee, the total would really eat up our food and housing budget. Tsk…tsk… I am looking at what else I could do in order to financially prepare for our future.

Fairytale Books

I remember when I was a child that I loved fairy tales. I loved books and read about princesses and fairies and princes saving the fair lady. I would sometimes even imagine that I am the princess wearing a nice gown with glass slippers and a tiara. Or sometimes I am the fairy godmother with dazzling clothes and a magic wand. As long as I am the pretty one, I liked it.

One of the memorable stories of my childhood is the Princess and the Pea. It was about a princess who kinda ran away from their palace and was caught in a storm. She found herself in another kingdom. She knocked at the door of the castle and she claimed that she was a princess. She was given preferential treatment. But the queen of that kingdom doubted her nobility. The queen made the princess sleep in a room with about 20 mattresses piled up. Then she put a pea under the mattress. The next day, the princess complained that she did not sleep well because there seemed like a pea under her mattress. The queen said only a true princess would detect a pea under so many mattresses

Now I find that story incredulous but when I was a child, I loved it! Haha...

Big Me

I think I have been writing too much about diet pills that somehow my body is already craving for it big time. I remember my first post about planning to use them; I was just a few pounds overweight. Now, I am already super overweight. My t-shirt size has gone from medium to extra-large! Imagine that!!!

Anyway, I am not yet planning to use diet pills yet. I think I am eyeing colon cleansers and then diet pills. I think I have to unclog my colon first before I start thinking of relieving fat from my body!!
