Contemplating of Getting a New One

A few days ago, I found out that my son’s PC couldn’t be used anymore. The probable reason might be the fact that the motherboard got short circuited while my son tried to turn it on last year. A friend came and tried to fix it but to no avail.

Now, I am contemplating of buying a new one probably one of the acer laptops displayed at the mall or a new desktop for me so my husband will get this PC I am using and my son, his dad’s. Hmmm… This really sounds very appealing for me, especially the thought of getting a new one for myself! Hehehehe…

But of course, I still need to consider the budget for a new PC. I want something fast so I can be more efficient and productive!! Any recommendations?!

Yoga is proven to be very therapeutic and a good way to exercise. When I see people doing those yoga poses, I feel like I could not do all those stretching at all. But then again, why not give it a try? Yoga is also known for its spiritual origins. Back in the days it was very related Hinduism. Yoga was very much a part of their culture, way of life and worship. Now, of course, it has become more of a physical exercise.

It is known for its ability to make the abs firm, too. Oh, I think I would need that a lot! Yoga blocks are sold online—should I get one?

Helping the City

Aside from distributing food and clothing for those who havebeen affected by the recent flooding in our city, cleaning up houses would beanother challenge. It would take a longtime before houses could be squeaky clean again.

One of the things needed would be a hydraulic hose towash out mud and dirt. Hoses like theseshould be distributed throughout the city. This Christmas is definitely not asfestive as the ones we have had, but the spirit of giving and sharing was veryevident among our countrymen. Now that the Christmas season is fast approaching, most churches will be holding Christmas cantatas to celebrate the birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ.

These presentations may be done by the kids, teens, or adults ministry, but the main thing is, Christ is the center of the celebration.

We will soon be hearing great music played live from microkorg keyboards to accompany these biblical presentations. Oh it is just a blessing watching these plays! And it is a great way to spend one Christmas night in church, appreciating the essence of the season in an artistic performance.

A Fun Sport for the Family

It’s been quite a while that I have not played any sport. As a working mom, I find it hard to find time to spare for the outdoors. Inasmuch as I want to be physically fit, my work would consume most of my waking hours, working in the computer.

I am not closing the doors for possible opportunities to enjoy a sport. Maybe I could play with the kids one time. I am not sure what sports they like to play, but we could always explore.

Can you imagine us riding a horse with those riding helmets? I think that would be cool. Not only do we get to enjoy the sights, we would also be enjoying a sport that we could look forward doing regularly.

I am sure there are a lot of times when you cannot work because of stress. You think too much that your body starts to feel every worry you have. What do you do when this happens? The weather is really turning out to be unpredictable by the day. One minute it is all cloudy and gloomy, rainy even, then sunny and hot the next. That is why it is best to be dressed in your most comfortable clothes all the time, the once which are light enough to keep you cool when the temperatures rise and comfy enough to keep you warm when the cool breeze comes in and the rain decides to drop. Laundry Hose

During my laundry day, I find it too difficult to transfer a vast amount of water using non-industrial hose. The hose I use gets easily damage and more water leaks occur for just a few usage. Until, my husband brings one of those industrial rubber hose. Well, in my experience, industrial rubber hose doesn't kink easily and easy to roll up, and up to now it is still in use.

Now I found it more useable in many household applications, since it is industrial, it will be use a bit longer.

Birthday Celebrations

Our youngest daughter just turned two years old last Friday. Well, we didn’t send out birthday invitations because we were not able to prepare for a party. We only had a small family celebration. We have two birthday cakes (courtesy of two angels), spaghetti, two lechon manok and two liters of Coke - a small preparation for a special gathering of thankfulness.

The next birthday in line will be for my son. He will turn 8 years old this November and we are going to celebrate it in Manila. But aside from his birthday, we are going there to meet up some of my friends from Pinay Mommies Community and Postcrossing Enthusiasts. I am looking forward for a fun gathering and a memorable family vacation!

When I was a child, I remember playing with all sorts of tires at our compound. My uncle was once involved in buying and selling old tires. They were no ordinary tires; most of them were so big that I could play inside it. S

Some of those tires were used in construction vehicles, I am not sure if he had ATV Tires but I am sure our compound looked like a playground with extraordinary big tires.After a few months, my uncle removed all the tires from our compound. He did that because dengue had an outbreak. So to protect all the children from the compound, he decided to move them in a different place.

Replacing the Desktop with a Laptop Computer

One of the computers at home is starting to act up already. Just the other day, I had a hard time using it. It makes me want to think of replacing the whole thing instead of taking it to a repairman each time it breaks down. But then I don’t think I want to spend my money on a desktop computer again.

I’m thinking maybe I should get a laptop or a netbook, something more compact and handy that can easily be taken along anywhere. Setting up a whole desktop system is a tad too time-consuming. Whereas with a laptop, you simply close it, place it in its protective sleep and you’re good to go.

I have started going over some models of toshiba laptop computers. I’m actually looking at their 10” and under models since I want one I can easily slip in my purse. They have one which costs under $300 and is integrated with a webcam and mic. I just need my husband to carefully examine the specs and if he says it’s a go, I just might buy it.

In my 32 years of existence, I only attended a bridal shower once. My cousin was getting married to her vacationing US Army boyfriend (now husband). So, she didn’t have the time to prepare bridal shower invitations but it went out alright and fun!

Anyway, I would really love to experience a bridal shower again. As I read and browse photos, bridal showers nowadays are more exciting, fun and glamorous!! Now, the only problem I have is… most of my friends are already married. There are only few who are not yet tied with a knot but they are in other countries. Bummer!

Low Insurance Rates for Young Ones

When I look back in my life, I sometimes think that I should have gotten insurance policies when I was younger. That is because if you are young, life insurance rates are also low. If you are already middle-aged, you have to pay for a higher premium.

Now I am thinking that it is still not too late to sign up for one, like what my friend said. But seriously, I doubt it at this point because that would get me to spare a big chunk from our annual income to do so. I am still thinking if we can afford even just one policy for the moment.

Whenever I go to the mall, I would get to pass by their appliance center that is located near the entrance. On one side of the glass wall, you could see an array of LCD TVs that are on display.

I would really be drawn to those samsung tvs lcd because of their picture quality. The colors are sharp and crisp so the movies shown look really realistic. I would sometimes need to remind myself to get going otherwise, I would end up standing there for a whole hour just watching a movie in front of the appliance center. LOL

Sometimes when I am stressed, I watch movies just to keep my mind off those issues that bug me. I love to see beautiful sceneries of the American countryside that are often the settings of the movies I watch.

I like watching these things because they give me a bird’s-eye view of what life is like for the common folks of America. I learned that many of them own motorhomes that they use for traveling long distances. I just wonder though what would a motorhome repair entail? I mean, it is so much more than a regular vehicle. Do you go to a mechanic or would you go to a carpenter?
